Hand wash in cold water (below 30°C) using a mild detergent made for delicates. Never wring or twist the fabric. Gently squeeze out excess water instead. Avoid soaking for long periods, and wash silk separately from other fabrics.

Lay flat on a clean, dry towel away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Never tumble dry. Reshape the garment while damp and let it air dry naturally - direct sun can weaken the fibers and cause discoloration.

Iron on the lowest heat setting while the fabric is still slightly damp, always on the reverse side. Use a pressing cloth to protect the surface. Never use steam directly on silk, as it can leave water marks.

Store in a breathable cotton garment bag, away from direct light and humidity. Avoid plastic covers, which trap moisture. Fold gently or hang on a padded hanger to keep its shape.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30–40°C with a mild detergent, or hand wash for extra care. Wash similar colors together, as linen may release some dye in the first few washes. Avoid harsh detergents with bleach.

Air dry by hanging or laying flat, ideally outdoors or in a well-ventilated space. Linen dries quickly and can be tumble dried on low heat if needed - just remove promptly to reduce wrinkling.

Iron while still slightly damp on a medium-to-high heat setting for a smooth finish. Linen wrinkles easily - this is natural and part of its character, so a relaxed, lived-in look is entirely acceptable.

Store in a cool, dry place with good air circulation. Avoid airtight plastic bags, as linen needs to breathe. Fold loosely rather than tightly to prevent permanent creasing.
